Whether you are looking for a full Garden Design or just a small border revamp, the process begins with a free initial consultation.

Your journey then starts with a home visit to assess the existing garden and ascertain the garden design brief through an informal discussion. A written quotation for the work will then be forwarded onto you.
Garden Design
Once the quotation has been approved and you commission the work, the exciting part begins !

A scaled 2D CAD layout drawing of the garden design will be produced with jpeg images to help visualise the garden. A second visit will be arranged to present the design to you. Any changes that are required will be made free of charge.
​
A final set of plans printed on A3 will then be produced (and electronic copies emailed) which can be used to obtain accurate quotes. There are a number of local landscapers that I can recommend on the basis of previous project collaborations.

One plan will be a detailed, colour copy with enhanced images to help the visualisation of certain aspects. A second will be a black & white copy with measurements, material recommendations and elevation changes. Lighting plans can also be produced.

up to 100 sq m £ 350.00
101 sq m - 200 sq m £ 475.00
201 sq m - 300 sq m £ 595.00

Gardens over 300 sq m to be priced on an individual basis following a site visit.

ONLINE REMOTE GARDEN DESIGN *

Living outside of Hampshire is not a barrier to using Plan A Head’s professional design services. This service has been adapted to offer a cost effective remote design service. Please email for further information.

Remote design fees:
up to 150 sq m £395.00
up to 300 sq m £525.00

* Only suitable for gardens up to 300 sq m that are not subject to height elevation changes. Planting plans priced separately.

Planting Plans
Planting Plans are priced and designed as a separate project as some customers prefer to develop this part of the garden themselves.
​
​​​It can be very expensive making mistakes with your plant selections, particularly if you are not sure about what you are choosing and planting. Engaging a professional to help create a whole garden plan will take the guesswork out of what can otherwise be a daunting challenge.

Plans will show the plant variety, position and number required to create an attractive display. They can be created to enhance your whole new Garden Design or just focus on one border in your existing garden.
​
The plan will be designed on a 2D CAD program and printed as an A3 size document ​and also provided as pdf documents.​
​
Plants can be quoted for, supplied, even planted if required.
